The Weekend to End Breast Cancer

The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is a phenomenal 60 km walk through the streets of Toronto to raise crucial funds for Princess Margaret Hospital.  The 7th Annual walk occurs this Sept 11-13, 2009.  We are looking for dedicated volunteers in the office, at orientations, and on the event who want to help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer!

Youth Assisting Youth – The Youth Mentoring People, is a non-profit community based youth mentoring program that matches youth volunteers, aged 16 to 29, with marginalized or newcomer youth, aged 6 to 15. These youth are normally experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and/or cultural adjustment issues. Youth Assisting Youth (YAY) is proud to have worked with more than 13,000 young people since 1976. We have a 98% rate of success rate in keeping troubled youth in school and out of the Youth Justice System.
