The KW YMCA has been a leader in providing newcomers to Canada with the emotional, spiritual and physical support needed to adapt, contribute and prosper in the KW community since 1985. Our programs assist them in various ways:

Newcomer Women's Services Toronto is a registered charity serving newcomer
women. For 25 years, NEW has promoted the social well-being of women and their
families who are new to Canada.

New offers Language Instruction for Newcomer to Canada (LINC) at six levels
to suit your needs, this program also has childminding. NEW also provides
Settlement Services to assist clients and their families gain access to a wide
variety of services.

LEAP offers a one-stop individually tailored program for your unique employment needs. With the support of LEAP’s employment specialists, you will learn to seize opportunities that help you achieve your goals.

Serving countless numbers of people in the immigrant community in Scarborough, Newcomer Services for Adults is a program that provides effective and high quality settlement services to empower clients to become independent in Canada. All services are free and also provided in different languages.

VR Placement is a Toronto-based Service Provider for the Ontario Disability Support Program offering training, career development and job placement to people with disabilities facing the challenges of seeking employment. Since 1993, we have helped many individuals successfully re-enter the workforce. If you or a loved one has a disability we can assist with defining and reaching work related goals.

The Accreditation Assistance Access Centre (AAAC) is an information and accreditation planning service which advises Internationally Trained Professionals/Trades people on how to obtain professional recognition in Canada.

AAAC will provide you with information and steps to understand career path options in the labour market.
