Job Description Responsible to design, implement and support the corporate data network. Able to have an overall view of the network and champion new technologies. Network stabilization is now at the forefront of IT as the business is demanding stable systems and environment. Lead Network Desinger is required to perform the research, design, documentation, and implementation and then hand over to first level support.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maintains the documents related to the Network Design.
•Follows up the network architecture implementation with team members.
•Oversees the installation, configuration, security implementation and testing of the networks,
including switches, routers and network management systems, in accordance with the specified
design (this role may include Firewalls and Intrusion Detection system)
•Determines tools for the Network Monitoring, bandwidth monitoring and reporting.
•Works closely with the network team to co-ordinate the system and the network architecture installations.
•Works closely with the IT Security Architect, to ensure that the network architecture complies with all security requirements.
•Determine upgrade schedules for network infrastructure.
Job Qualifications •Minimum 10 years of IT experience
•Minimum 7 years of previous experience in LAN and WAN network design
•Experience with Ethernet, switching, Routing (OSPF), EIGRP, BGP, VRF, TCP/IP, spanning tree , VLAN’s, 802.1x, Wireless, WiMax and Cloud computing
•Hands-on experience with switches and routers (Cisco platform) such as Nexus, 6500, VSS.
•Hands-on experience with Firewalls (Cisco and Checkpoint), IPS, IDS and IOS firewall
•Experience on design high profile Web based services, load balancing, caching, BGP
•Experience on design, implementation and operating network and bandwidth monitoring and management products
•Experience in using network analysis tools for packet capture and decode
•Capability to troubleshoot networks and network related issues of Windows and Unix systems in complex architecture with high availability and fiber based SAN
•Sense of service
•Remarkable troubleshooting capabilities
•Network certifications (e.g. CCNP, CCIE Preferred)
•IT Security certifications are an asset
•Experience on project management and related tools
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Coaching and mentoring attitude
•Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
•Ability to work in a high pressure environment
