Responsibilities:
• Technical (field) sales coverage at end users, distributors, valve repair shops and Stream-Flo service centres within assigned territory. Primary responsibility to promote MasterFlo chokes, Stream-Flo ESDs and Stream-Flo check valves.
• Promote wellheads at those accounts where additional help is needed to support the Stream-Flo service centres.
• Deliver professional technical presentations to operations personnel and other technical disciplines at end users and their agents or representatives.
• Represent the company at trade shows, general sales meetings and industry functions as assigned.
• Maintain a detailed contact database which will need to be shared and reported on a regular basis.
• Prepare weekly call reports stating achievements for the week and outlining future objectives.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance to equipment on an as needed basis within technical capabilities and product comfort level.
• Perform other duties as assigned by sales management.

Qualifications:
• Practical working knowledge of principles & methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy & tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and technical control systems.
• Practical working knowledge of business and management principles. Good working knowledge of production facilities, plants, refineries and pipelines would be a definite asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self starter. Must be able to work independently.
• Minimum 3 years experience in field sales or service in the oil and gas industry (ideally related to valves) with proven revenue and profitability generating results.
• Formal relevant technical education or equivalent of combined education and experience.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
