YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

As an Accounts Payable Associate – Part-Time,  you will be responsible for:

  • Primarily responsible for the purchasing function including coding and entry of invoices and expense reports
  • Ensuring expense policies are followed and only reimbursing based on approved policies
  • Weekly preparation of cheques
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
  • Assist in the invoicing including preparation of sales invoices
  • Other duties as assigned

AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE

  • A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in areas of accounts payable, receivable or financial reporting
  • Proficiency in  Quickbooks Pro, Excel, Windows XP, Microsoft Dynamics AX an asset
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A keen interest in working with a progressive organization
  • Initiative to suggest and implement continuous improvement for processes and controls
