The Office of the Integrity Commissioner is seeking an analytical, tactful and highly organized Inquiries Officer to carry out coordination, liaison, and general duties in relation to the Commissioner's work with Members of Provincial Parliament.
Your demonstrated interpersonal and analytical skills are required to receive, review and coordinate a response to confidential inquiries from Members of Provincial Parliament. You oversee and coordinate timely completion of financial disclosures from Members of Provincial Parliament including annual meetings with the Commissioner. You are also responsible for identifying and carrying out communication and outreach needs arising from this work.
You are tactful and have demonstrated an ability to work with confidential material. In addition, you are proficient in liaising with senior representatives of government, members of the Legislative Assembly, counterparts in other jurisdictions, and members of the public. You will be required to provide overflow and back up support and carry out duties on an as needed basis in the office's other areas of responsibility.
What we are looking for: You have superior verbal and written communication skills. You have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of the Members' Integrity Act, 1994, in particular; however, you are familiar with all of the areas of the Commissioner's work. You possess above-average skills in Word and Excel and are completely conversant in administrative functions. Superior communication, problem-solving, judgement and analytical skills will contribute to your success in this position.
