Job Description:
We are seeking an analytical individual who is proficient with a variety of databases to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will develop and design database strategies, monitor and improve database and stored procedure performance, plan for future expansion requirements, and provide analytics to the organization, in particular Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Manage and develop targeting strategy in concert with CRM
• Work with Marketing and CRM partners to execute campaigns (i.e. online, email, internal sales opportunities, data analytics, etc.) to ensure that all aspects of tactical execution are implemented as planned
• Primary day-to-day liaison with CRM and BI groups to ensure accuracy of data and delivery through rigorous attention to detail and data validation
• Manage and conduct analysis of consumer data to identify new sales and revenue sources
• Analyze demographic, market, customer, campaign data to identify trends, insights, results and findings to generate future proactive sales and contact initiatives
• Develop, design and ongoing improvement of the databases and strategies
• Monitor the database and replication for performance issues
• Proactive improvement of stored procedures, database functions and replication performance
• Provide quality reviews and guidance on any changes to the database prior to their implementation including schema changes, stored procedure changes, database functions and so forth
• Maintain data integrity and availability
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies
• Ensure that the data is backed up, recovery is possible and that the security of the data is assured
• Identify and manage ongoing process improvements to segmentation, data integration and reliability, execution of segment targeting and direct marketing initiatives, and results reporting/monitoring

Qualifications:
Ideally you will have:
• Highly-developed analytical and logic skills
• Highly developed problem solving skills
• Expert knowledge and proficiency in using a range of databases (MS-SQL), analytical software and programming tools and (e.g. SAS, MS SQL, Excel)
• Knowledge of highly complex data environments, that extensively use stored procedures
• Proven ability to translate needs into analytics / modeling that drives results
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong communication skills (written / verbal)
• Ability to translate technical information into business terms
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams (particularly CRM resources)
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in a busy and open environment
• Ability to think broadly and consider impacts across systems and within the organization
