Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Tim Hortons Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the legal team at our corporate head office in Oakville. This newly-created position will provide legal advice to various business units within the company.
Qualifications:
* LL. B. and member in good standing of the Ontario Bar.
* 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in house legal department
* General corporate commercial knowledge and experience with a focus on intellectual property law
* Experience in Marketing and Advertising legal matters considered an asset.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Comfort working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manages the Canadian, U.S. and International Intellectual Property porfolio
* Negotiates and drafts a wide range of commercial contracts including trademark and enforcements matters.
* Assists with trademark infringements
* Special projects as assigned.
