Job Seekers are encouraged to drop in at the Diversity Job Fair located at the Scarborough Civic Centre. The Job Fair is being held in partnership with Scarborough Centre for Employment Accessibility (SCEA) and the Toronto District School Board. This event will have employers ready to meet you and accept resumes, plus resume reviews and mini assessments will be held onsite.
Oscar Chimenti, Project Administrator of SCEA says: “This will be an exciting event with employers hiring clients from all demographics where job seekers can meet and network with employers in a relaxed environment. SCEA has hosted several job fairs reaching out to the Scarborough community and beyond. We want to provide attendees with an opportunity to network and gain first hand access to employers. ASL interpreters will be onsite to help out if needed.”
BACKGROUND: Scarborough Centre for Employment Accessibility (SCEA) is funded by Employment Ontario and operated by the Toronto District School Board. The centre assists persons with disabilities to prepare for employment or self-employment as well as develop the skills required to maintain employment.
